MY BEST FRIEND
My best friend was at the robot on his motorbike waiting for the light to change to green, approximate time 17:50. A car driven by a drunk woman high on drugs drove straight into the back of him at about 60 kays per hour causing him to fly many metres ahead of him and land on the pavement.
He was apparently killed on impact. To make matters worse she didn’t stop and bystanders ran after her car and managed to smash her window and pull the keys out of the ignition.
Witnesses describe the scene as absolute horror and were shocked. My best friend was DEAD.
She only received a 15 year suspended sentence – and left behind 1 amazing kind hearted person – MY BEST FRIEND. RIP DAN.
