No Regret Friday

Mxo

Last week 08 July 2011 one of my relatives and close friend was killed in a car crash this happened in the early hours of Friday as there were coming back from a club. They had been drinking from about 17h00 the previous day which was Thursday and left for the club at about 21h30 and that time you could see were already warm.

I refused to go with them to the club I dont know why because honestly I was not worried that much about them drinking it just happened that I was not ready to go. He was driving a new car about two weeks new and just started a new business in Howick all was looking green.

So after the club, him and the other friend decided to race and guess what he never came back, he was involved in a head on collision with a bus and he passed on at the spot at about 03h15 am.

This touched me because we all know these things happens but we dont care until they happen to us or to someone we know.
May his soul rest in peace.

Yes- so many people kill themselves after drinking then driving. What a loss to you and the family. SADDs thoughts are with you.Car crashes are the leading cause of deaths in the 15 – 29 yr olds in SA – and alcohol is usually involved. Be proactive and learn about Units of alcohol and the Driving Rules.South Africans Against Drunk Driving.http://www.sadd.org.za/
