No Regret Friday

Libby Heeger

Almost all the accidents I have been involved in have been drunken driving related – the only lucky thing is that I never involved anyone else… only my own stupid self. I was reckless, careless, and selfish to have not only placed myself in danger but others as well. That being said the destruction of property, writing off two cars, and landing up in hospital twice is nothing to be proud of. Since becoming more aware of how stupid I really was I have avoided drinking and driving and guess what.. no accidents in over three years (touch wood). I’ve learned my limits but more importantly I’ve learned to hand over my keys when I’ve had too much…. with no regrets.

Well done! An excellent way to remain in control is to drink 1 unit per hour- and in that way you will have no regrets! I agree- never, ever drink then drive! Its not worth it. Caro from South Africans Against Drunk Driving.http://www.sadd.org.za/
