Anne Swart

I was in an accident in 2006 because i was drinking and driving. Luckily it was just my car and me alone in my car involved in the accident. I almost died that night and I am grateful that I was alone and didn’t injure innocent drivers on the road. I learnt a very valuable lesson that night. DONT DRINK AND DRIVE – EVER!

Well done Anne for changing your habits! As a you say- you could have killed a pedestrian or another person-like a friend in the car with you.Now you can really help by teaching others about your experience.Join us to make a differrence! http://www.sadd.org.za/ Caro from South Africans Against Drunk Driving.

The exact same thing happened to me. It was a wake up call if ever there was one. I signed up with Goodfella’s after that and haven’t looked back since. I would not be able to have lived with the shame and guilt if I had hurt or killed someone.
