If only we had the No Regret Friday movement 8 years ago, things would be a whole lot different. Maybe then, that man wouldn’t have decided to drive drunk from PE to Cape Town. Maybe then he would never had fallen asleep behind the wheel and lost control of his car. But he was intoxicated and decided on a whim that he wants to drive those 7 hours to Cape Town. My Father was on that same road, driving in the opposite direction when that man passed out behind the wheel and drove straight into my Dad’s car at over 140kph almost decapitating him. Maybe both families would still have their fathers. If only…
